CENTIPEDE NEST

 This project was inspired by my love of mythical and imaginary creatures.

 There was no deeper meaning or symbolism on my final work, not one I could think of at that moment atleast.  I enjoy drawing and painting out-of-this-world-creatures and that’s all there’s to it.  Perhaps there is a meaning to it since I chose it, like, my appreciation of imaginary creatures can be compared with the size of the canvas, or something that has to do with the meaning of centipedes in different cultures.

 For example:  For me personally, centipedes represent fear, but even fear can be used in art and as art, and then they it’s not so scary anymore…..or is it?

After I finished with the painting, I took a photo of it and experimented with color on photoshop.  I have posted some of my successful experiments along with the original.
